Individual Counseling
Successful individual counseling first begins with the development of a confidential, trusting relationship. I will spend as much time as necessary to learn about your perspective and beliefs about the topics that brought you into counseling. We can decide together where to focus and navigate forward. Based on that information, goals for the counseling process can be identified. Such a strategy helps us to recognize and track your progress.
Additionally, I can help you with the following:
-Developing effective coping strategies
-Understanding your responses to life stresses
-Learning to have more compassion for yourself
-Practicing newly learned behaviors outside of therapy
Individual therapy is effective for a countless number and combination of issues which can be discussed in the initial contact.
